ABOUT THE FARM
The Noart Farm is an art and philosophy centre near Skanderborg. It is located on a 9,000 square metre site, of which 400 square metres are dedicated to workshops, housing and a meeting room. Our mission is to provide artists and philosophers with the necessary space and time to cultivate their practice and engage in reflection. The Noart Farm's official opening is planned for 2026, but we are partially functional before that time as the different parts become ready for testing with workshops and housing. We are conducting pilot projects to further sharpen our goals and values.
The Noart Farm works to operate as sustainably as possible with solar panels to collect electricity, rainwater tanks for washing and toilets, geothermal heating and vegan cuisine.
The buildings are the former stables of this farm, built in the 1800s. The design to modernise the buildings for the purpose of a centre for art and philiospy was drawn up by architect firm Fenger Arkitektur. on the insturctions on the owners, Noelia and Jeppe.
